Hi,
I am having some problems running games like Dark Void and Mirror's Edge.
Machine Specifications:
Intel C2Q Q6600 @ Default Clocks
2x NVIDIA 8800GT 512MB SLI @ Default Clocks - 196.34
Creative Sound Blaster X-FI Fatal1ty - 6.0.1.1373
Latest PhysX System Software.
Now, I got Dark Void from the SLI Club Members Email, and from what I understand, the downloadable version of the game already has PhysX patch included in it, as after trying to install it manually, does not work, and cannot locate the game installation folder. When I run the game, even if I set PhysX to low, I can get past the tutorial etc, but on the 1st Chapter at the 1st in-game cutscene were the 2 characters pick up guns and go seperate ways, and the tunnel collapses, the game crashed with the following error:
ShippingPC-SkyGame.exe has stopped working.
After checking the error report, I have the following details:
APPCRASH
Caused by PhysXCore.dll 2.8.1.34
In Mirror's Edge, I basically get similar issue after a level loads, but with this it actually causes the driver to stop responding.
Please help.
